If a visit to Maui is in your future and you are unsure about lodging, consider our comfortable 1 bedroom guest suite. It is an attached ohana (family dwelling), with a private entrance, 100% self contained, ideal for the couple or business person desiring a quiet place while on Maui.
The guest suite is a no-party, non-smoking/vape, no-drug environment. This is a nice, quiet neighborhood where the shoes stay outside, island style!
New living area furniture, new stove/range, refrigerator, amenities, etc. New, comfortable queen in your bedroom. The large lanai is nice spot for a meal or an end of day cool drink.
2020 brought us a pandemic which brought along with it, a shutdown of short term vacation rentals.
We took advantage of the empty suite and remodeled the bath and kitchen areas. An elegant porcelain and glass door shower was created by one of Maui’s top tile setters. The new kitchen features sleek, bright, roomy cabinets and granite counter tops.
An efficient Mitsubishi two zone a/c system was added in April 2020 to make the suite comfortable, 24/7.
Located on the desirable south end of Kihei, the suite is a great base for day trips. You can get your toes in the sand after a short 10-12 minute walk to Kamaole Beach II. Jump in the car and you are 5 minutes from the resorts, restaurants and shops of Wailea. But distant from the busyness of a condo and Kihei Rd.
The space
What sets our place apart is the privacy, convenience and the lack of noise compared to a congested condo. Parking is off-street and a 15 second walk to your front door.
Boogie boards, snorkels and a cooler are ready for your use!
Guest access
Inputting the provided code into the keypad gives you access to our 480 sq ft/46 sq m ohana, which includes the living room area, a fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom and bedroom. Plus the 300 sq ft/27 sq m covered lanai (patio).
The ohana is self-contained and 100% private and permitted south Maui vacation rental which you will find to be super clean, convenient and comfortable. We do not enter during guest’s stay unless invited or in case of an emergency.
Fresh fruit, coffee are provided upon request. We collect and pay the Maui County and HI state TA and GE taxes. Our permit number is BBKM 2019/0002
